Helen Skelton has hit out at people who ask her if she ever feels guilty over the choices she makes as a mother.
The television presenter, 40, shares sons Ernie, eight, Louis, six, and daughter Elsie, two, with her ex-husband Richie Myler.
And she insists parents should never be shamed into being perfect or acting a certain way, claiming it's simply a waste of energy.
She told OK! magazine: 'I think that’s a term we should just never say out loud again.
'You could use that term about everything in your life.

'Are we not doing enough exercise – do we feel guilty? Are we not eating enough vegetables – do we feel guilty? It’s a phrase that should be parked.
'You’ve got to really invest in the right energy and guilt is just a waste.'
Helen also revealed how she's doing since her split from her rugby player ex Richie, 33, insisting she and her children are 'doing great' and 'there's plenty to be positive about'.
It comes after it emerged Richie was 'set to be a dad again' and that he is weeks away from welcoming his second child with girlfriend Stephanie Thirkill, 33, who is currently seven-months pregnant.
Helen, 40, and Richie, who wed in 2013 and separated in April 2022, officially finalised their divorce in January and now co-parent their three children.
The BBC Morning Live presenter confirmed that she and Richie had split just four months after the birth of their third child Elsie. They also share sons Ernie, eight, and Louis, six, together.
According to The Sun, a source said: 'Richie and Stephanie are over the moon about adding to their family.
'It’s been a wonderful year for them with their daughter Olivia celebrating her first birthday this month. They couldn’t be happier.'

While the happy couple are overjoyed with the news, ex-wife Helen has reportedly taken it as a shock.
The source added: 'Helen found the news of Richie and Stephanie’s first child painful so this will be difficult.
'She is moving on as best she can and is focused on being a parent to their children.'
MailOnline contacted Helen and Richie's representatives for comment.
Richie and Stephanie began dating shortly after he split from Helen and welcomed daughter Olivia Laura Myler, 12 months, in March 2023.
Stephanie is the daughter of Leeds Rhinos president Andrew Thirkill, the rugby club Richie played for from 2017 until last year.
In January, a source told MailOnline: 'Helen and Richie are legally divorced.
'Their marriage was declared over at the end of December, so finally both parties can move on and start the New Year fresh.'
The couple's divorce came three months after Richie accused Helen of 'dragging her heels over proceedings' and 'preventing him from moving forward with his life'.
MailOnline reported in October 2023 that Helen was yet to sign off their divorce despite receiving the decree nisi approved by the courts saying there is no reason why the couple cannot formally separate.
At the time a source close to the pair claimed that Helen's alleged refusal to cooperate had left Richie 'frustrated because he wants to move on with his life' and 'nobody can understand her continued delay'.
